What this covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) used on coveredcopywriting.com, and how to control them.

Essential (always on)

These keep the site and cart working and can't be switched off, because the site can't function without them. They don't track you across other websites.

• Cart contents — browser local storage, keeps your cart items between visits.
• Cookie consent choice — remembers whether you've accepted or declined non-essential cookies, so you're not asked again every visit.

Analytics (off until you say yes)

Google Analytics 4 — helps us understand which pages get read and which packages get viewed, in aggregate. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits. These do not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner or turn analytics on in "Cookie preferences." Declining, or not responding, keeps analytics off.

Marketing

We don't currently run marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy and the consent banner will be updated first, and marketing cookies will be off by default until you opt in — the same rule we apply to analytics.

How consent works on this site

• Nothing beyond the essential items above loads until you make a choice.
• The banner offers a real, balanced choice — "Accept" and "Reject" are equally prominent; nothing is pre-ticked on your behalf.
• Choosing "Reject" (or closing the banner without choosing) keeps analytics off; only essential items run.
• Your choice is remembered, so you won't see the banner again until you clear your browser storage or the choice expires.
• You can change your mind at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer, which reopens the same choice.

Managing or clearing cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies directly in your browser's settings at any time; doing so may reset your cart or your consent choice.
