Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of technical information collected automatically.

• Contact and quote requests: name, email, company (optional), phone (optional), and the project brief text you submit.
• Checkout and orders: name, email, phone (optional), billing address, and the project brief submitted with your order. We do not collect or store payment card numbers — see "Payment information" below.
• Newsletter signups: email address only.
• Automatically collected: pages visited, general location (city/region level), device and browser type, and referring site — collected only through Google Analytics 4, and only after you've given cookie consent (see the Cookie Policy).

Payment information

This site's checkout currently runs a demo payment flow: card fields are present for demonstration but are never transmitted to us or to any payment processor, are marked not to autocomplete, and are cleared from the page after submission. No card data is collected, stored, or processed by Covered Copywriting today. If a live payment processor is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated first to name the processor and describe how card data is handled by them.

How we use your information

• To respond to quote requests and contact-form submissions.
• To process and fulfill orders, including the project brief that scopes your work.
• To send the newsletter, only to addresses that signed up for it.
• To understand site usage in aggregate through Google Analytics 4, only after cookie consent.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

How we store submissions

Contact, quote, and order forms on this site are processed client-side. By default, no submission is sent to an external server — a copy is held only in your own browser's local storage so you can see that the form worked, and is not transmitted to us over the network unless a live submission endpoint has been configured. If a live endpoint is in use, submitted data is received at support@coveredcopywriting.com and retained only as long as needed to respond to your request or fulfill your order.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 does not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you actively accept analytics cookies in the consent banner. Full detail is in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@coveredcopywriting.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes affecting how we handle your data will be noted clearly on this page.
