Agreement

These terms govern your use of coveredcopywriting.com and any package or service purchased through it. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms. Covered Copywriting is located at 4561 Amesbury Rd, Columbus, OH 43227, USA (Ohio Secretary of State Charter No. 4912766, EIN 88-3471905).

Services

We provide productised copywriting services across seven service lines, sold as fixed-price packages or monthly retainers, as described on each service page and on /pricing/. Package inclusions, turnaround windows, and revision-round counts are stated on each package and form part of the order at the price shown at checkout.

Ordering and the engagement process

Orders are placed through the site's cart and checkout. Every order includes a project brief, which starts the Brief stage of our process ("Draft to Press": Brief, Draft, Proof, Revise, Press — see /process/). We deliver a first draft inside the turnaround window stated on your package, you review and mark it up at the Proof stage, and we apply the included revision rounds at the Revise stage before final files are delivered at Press.

Payment

Package prices are shown in US dollars and are payable at checkout. This site's checkout currently uses a demo payment flow — no live card processing is active. A real payment method will be arranged directly with you before work begins on any order placed while the demo flow is active. Monthly retainer packages bill on a recurring monthly cycle, with the first month due at checkout.

Revisions and scope

Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds, applied to the draft delivered under that package. Revisions address feedback on the existing draft; requests that materially expand the original brief (additional pages, additional word count, a new deliverable) are scoped and quoted separately rather than treated as a revision.

Ownership of deliverables

Ownership of the final delivered copy transfers to you once the order is paid in full and final files are delivered at the Press stage. Draft materials, and any work delivered before full payment, remain the property of Covered Copywriting until payment is complete.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full on the Refund Policy. In summary: cancelling before the Draft stage begins refunds any deposit in full; after drafting begins, work completed to date is billable and the remaining balance is refunded; a 50% cancellation fee applies to retainer packages cancelled inside the current billing month; finished digital deliverables are non-returnable once final files are delivered.

No guaranteed results

We commit to the process, turnaround, and revision terms stated on each package. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes — rankings, conversion rates, sales, or open rates — because those depend on factors outside our control, including your offer, market, and traffic.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to submit unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent content in a project brief, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Ohio law, Covered Copywriting's total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or from an order will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
